Whilst painting my 'Women of Interest' series, I chose to relax by painting a Nude series.

The pleasure in this series came from the fact it was painted on Linen which made me think and plan so that the raw colour of the linen was visible.

In doing this, I was able to accentuate the raw beauty of the female form.

I like painting nudes fron the rear as it allows the cerebal viewer to imagine and then create the frontal beauty themselves. The subject could be their lover, spouse or their ideal woman.
